Skierfe has advised Sinoma Fastigheter AB on its acquisition of First Hotel G in Gothenburg from WestInvest ImmoValue, a Deka Immobilien investment fund for institutional investors.
Built in 2004 and boasting 300 rooms, First Hotel G is among the largest and most modern hotels in Gothenburg. It is located next to the city’s central station and within a walking distance from supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, Gothenburg Opera House, and the Lilla Bommen marina. The property has a total leasable area of over 13,600 sqm.
Sinoma Fastigheter AB is a company owned by Fastighets AB Balder (a Nasdaq Stockholm Large Cap listed property group), Folksamgruppen (one of Sweden’s largest pension and insurance groups), and Redito (a company investing in the Nordic property market). It owns some 30 properties in Stockholm and the Gothenburg region.
