Skierfe has advised Eiendomsspar AS on the acquisition of Scandic Malmö City from KLP Fastigheter. The property is located in the heart of central Malmö.
In connection with the transaction, Eiendomsspar has entered into a long-term lease agreement with Vander, a highly regarded Norwegian operator of aparthotels in the Nordic region.
The property is centrally located in Malmö, approximately ten minutes’ walk from Malmö Central Station. It will be renovated and developed into a modern aparthotel, offering fully equipped units with kitchens, a number of which will also have separate bedrooms. The project aims to address growing demand for longer and more flexible stays and to offer an attractive alternative to increasingly expensive accommodation in nearby Copenhagen.
