Skierfe has acted for ALM Equity in the acquisition and financing of 93.33 per cent of the shares in Järntorget Byggintressenter AB. The shares were acquired for a value of all shares in Järntorget of BSEK 1.7. The acquisition was financed by means of a combination of capital market instruments and liquid funds.
Following the acquisition, ALM Equity’s with its business line Product Development will be a leading project developer, having a portfolio amounting to 17,000 building rights, of which 3,000 is under production. The acquisition increases the supply of new building rights and may through economies of scale contribute to a strengthened operating margin. By the new building rights added to the business line Project Development, the portfolio of investment properties may grow to a leading position on the residential property market in Stockholm.
